چکیده

In this article we present a first application of our recently invented real-space RG formulation [1]. We work out a rigorous non-perturbative RG approach for the spin1 2 XXX Heisenberg model. This allows us to determine accurately the flow behaviour in the effective coupling constant for the non trivial fixed point region, which is still an open problem. We examine both, the ferromagnetic and the anti-ferromagnetic regime and explain the details of the implementation of our new idea in both cases. PACS: 75.10.Jm

Time-Dependent Real-Space Renormalization Group Method

In this paper, using the tight-binding model, we extend the real-space renormalization group method to time-dependent Hamiltonians. We drive the time-dependent recursion relations for the renormalized tight-binding Hamiltonian by decimating selective sites of lattice iteratively. The formalism is then used for the calculation of the local density of electronic states for a one dimensional quant...

A nonperturbative Real-Space Renormalization Group scheme I

Based on the original idea of the density matrix renormalization group (DMRG) [1], i.e. to include the correlations between adjacent blocks of the blocked quantum system, we present a rigorous and nonperturbative mathematical formulation for the real-space renormalization group (RG) idea invented by L.P. Kadanoff [2] and further developed by K.G. Wilson [3]. This is achieved by using additional...

A nonperturbative Real-Space Renormalization Group scheme

Based on the original idea of the density matrix renormalization group (DMRG) [1], i.e. to include the missing boundary conditions between adjacent blocks of the blocked quantum system, we present a rigorous and nonperturbative mathematical formulation for the realspace renormalization group (RG) idea invented by L.P. Kadanoff [2] and further developed by K.G. Wilson [3]. This is achieved by us...

Nonperturbative renormalization in a scalar model within Light-Front Dynamics

Within the covariant formulation of Light-Front Dynamics, in a scalar model with the interaction Hamiltonian H = −gψ2(x)φ(x), we calculate nonperturbatively the renormalized state vector of a scalar ”nucleon” in a truncated Fock space containing the N , Nπ and Nππ sectors. The model gives a simple example of nonperturbative renormalization which is carried out numerically. Though the mass renor...

CORE Technology and Exact Hamiltonian Real-Space Renormalization Group Transformations

The COntractor REnormalization group (CORE) method, a new approach to solving Hamiltonian lattice systems, is presented. The method defines a systematic and nonperturbative means of implementing KadanoffWilson real-space renormalization group transformations using cluster expansion and contraction techniques. We illustrate the approach and demonstrate its effectiveness using scalar field theory...
